RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
At Caleb Wedman Containers, we are committed to customer satisfaction and transparency. Because trailers, shipping containers, and custom-ordered units are significant investments, we have established a clear Return and Refund Policy to help set expectations and protect both you and our business.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
Returns and Exchanges
Items That May Be Eligible for Return:
Due to the nature of our inventory and the high cost and customization of trailers and shipping containers, all sales are considered final unless otherwise specified in writing at the time of purchase.
- The item must be new and unused.
- The item must be in the same condition as when it was received.
- It must be in the original packaging (if applicable).
- You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
Items Not Eligible for Return:
- Trailer or shipping container (new or used) once delivered or picked up
- Custom-ordered or modified units
- Any product that has been registered, titled, or used
- Parts installed or altered after delivery
- Leasing contracts (subject to terms of the signed agreement)
All eligible items must:
- Be returned within 30 days of delivery
- Include original receipt or proof of purchase
- Be in original condition and packaging
Restocking Fee: A 10% restocking fee may apply to approved returns.
How to Return Your Item
We offer two convenient ways to return your purchase:
- In-Store Returns: You may return your item in person at our physical location: 1925 Grand Ave Suite 127 Billings, MT 59102, USA from 5:00 PM (GMT-8) Pacific Standard Time Monday to Friday. Please bring your receipt and the unused item for inspection.
- Freight Returns: For large equipment or trailers, you may ship the item back to us via freight. Please contact us at +1 406-200-9912 / contact@calebwedman.com to initiate a return authorization before shipping.
Exchanges
Exchanges are accepted if the item is unused and in its original condition. Whether you bring the item in-store or ship it back via freight, we will process the exchange once the original item has been inspected and approved.
Refund Policy
Refunds are processed only if your return is:
- Approved by our returns department
- Received undamaged and in eligible condition
- Returned within the required timeframe
Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 7–10 business days of approval.
Important:
- Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable
- For cash purchases, refunds may be issued by company check
- Refunds on bank wires or ACH transfers may incur processing fees
Trailer / Container Deposits & Cancellations
If you placed a deposit on a trailer or equipment:
- Deposits are non-refundable unless explicitly agreed in writing
- If you cancel a custom order after production begins, any refund is subject to deductions for costs incurred
- For lease cancellations, refer to the terms outlined in your lease agreement
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We may request photos and a written explanation. Depending on the case, we may:
- Replace the item at no cost
- Issue a refund or credit
- Provide support through the manufacturer’s warranty
We do not accept returns on used trailers and shipping containers or equipment due to cosmetic wear or buyer’s remorse after delivery or registration.
